УДК 378.6: 355+378.147 Foreign language competence development of the Ukrainian Armed Forces prospective offi cers in the context of the acmeological approach

The article is devoted to the actual matter of the sustainable motivation development of cadets of higher military educational institutions to the foreign language competence formation in the context of a temporary transition to distance learning. In the course of the research, scientific and pedagogical literature on this issue has been analyzed. The meanings of the terms «distance learning», «motivation», «external motivation», «internal motivation» in modern pedagogical science have been defined and the main determinants of the weakening of educational activity of cadets in the context of distance learning have been revealed. The system of factors that influence the development of sustainable (internal) motivation of prospective officers for the foreign language competence formation using telecommunications has been substantiated. A range of new organizational (technological) forms of educational activity in the context of distance learning have been determined.
