The specifics of the formation of executive skills among students during their studies in higher education institutions

The article deals with the issue of forming performing skills as a basis of music teachers’ professionalism. The basic methods of working with beginner students are summarized on the basis of the analysis of the elaborated literature. Formation stages of performing skills at classes on the main musical instrument are substantiated. We consider the term «performing skills» in several meanings: firstly as a generalizing concept of various aspects of musical-educational activity of a music teacher (musical-pedagogical analysis, verbal explanation, performing interpretation of musical works), secondly, as a description of techniques and skills related to the artistic communication of the teacher with the audience (emotionality, the ability to capture the musical image, literacy and persuasiveness of musical interpretation), the organization of auditory attention, taking into account musical training and age characteristics of students.The essence is in the combination of special performing and pedagogical knowledge and skills. The complex of performing skills of a student is his «apparatus of experience», «apparatus of comprehension» and «apparatus of embodiment», which are aimed at the forming process of performing in front of children. Performing proficiency include 3 blocks of skills necessary for the perception and analysis of musical works, their performance, as well as for the preparation and conduction of musical and educational activities. Performing skills are a professional and personal characteristic that testifies to the teacher's acting and directing abilities, his mastery of performing arts techniques and pedagogical orientation of the individual.The article highlights the problem of professional training of future music teachers. In is given the tasks for future music teacher education and outlined the main directions of work with musical faculties students in Ukrainian pedagogical universities. Created approach is aimed at the comprehensive development and consolidation of basis professional skills of the future teasher, his knowledge, skills and abilities in other disciplines, historical and theoretical.
