The spiritual and moral dimension of modern ukrainian society: in the context of generations unity

Abstract

The spiritual basis formation of Ukrainian society is revealed in the historical retrospective. Every nation is interested in the most thorough study of its past because it is not only a testimony of its role and greatness, but also gives an understanding of the prerequisites of victory, and the reasons for defeats and sacrifices. The influence of historical and archaeological research on the process of self-identification and the spiritual and moral growth of Ukrainian society, the understanding of the modern man worldview, and the global shifts currently observed on our planet and in space are shown. The last known scientific discoveries and the fate of scientists who were looking for evidence of the influence of the universe on the spiritual life of the population, in particular Ukrainians. Today, a large amount of information has been collected, which has brought the solution to the fundamental questions of the spiritual heritage of Ukrainians closer. The scientific works of archaeologists through the artefacts and the symbolic content of things made it possible to learn the images of the time of their creation and to decode the essence of the socio-cultural environment of that time. Ideas, feelings and material heritage formed a bridge between the past and the future in the context of the unity of generations of Ukrainians. Information about the cosmic dimension of the development of culture and worldview is given, which, against the background of global natural-climatic and cosmic changes, is capable of conveying a holistic understanding of the history of mankind. It was emphasised that the stability of Ukraine as a structure is determined by qualities nurtured by generations, tested by tragic events, crisis situations, and wars. In this sense, the problem of spiritual and moral education of the younger generation of Ukrainians is urgent.
