Preparation of the future teacher for teaching rhetoric to lyceum students using digital tools

The article examines the theoretical and practical issues of the problem of training future language teachers to teach rhetoric in Ukrainian language classes using digital tools. The experience of professional training of a future teacher for school teaching of rhetoric at Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University is meaningful.
The linguistic-didactic, psychological-pedagogical and digital conditions for the preparation of future lexicographers for teaching rhetoric to high school students have been determined. Methods and digital resources are outlined that enable the implementation of appropriate conditions in classes on rhetoric and methods of teaching the Ukrainian language in the projection on the teaching of rhetoric for high school students within the school course of the Ukrainian language.
Emphasis is placed on the rhetorical and linguistic-methodical components of the preparation of future language teachers for teaching rhetoric. Emphasis is placed on the features of Alan Carrington's PA-Pedagogical Wheel resource, the mechanisms of which are based, among other things, on the detailing of educational goals, the identification of digital tools related to them, and the selection of effective learning technologies that potentially ensure the internal motivation of learners and the effectiveness of education. Possibilities of using this resource in the process of preparing future lexicographers for teaching rhetoric in Ukrainian language classes are considered.
The results of the study can contribute to a better understanding of the system of training philology students for school teaching of rhetoric using digital ICT tools.
