The modern educator as a facilitator of playing education for pre-school children

The article defines the importance of the role of a modern educator in facilitating the learning of pre-school children via a play. The essence of the concept of «facilitation» is clarified and the necessity of using facilitation in the context of training future educators to organize children's play activities is substantiated. To realize the set goal, methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison of systematization and generalization, scientific provisions were used.
Based on the analysis of scientific and pedagogical research, it was found that «facilitation» comes from the English facilitate ‒ it is to help, guide and facilitate. Therefore, it is a specialist who directs the process of the child's development, creates the atmosphere of psychological support and intellectual and emotional well-being.
Attention is focused on the fact that the gaming form of learning allows children not only to learn facts, but also to develop the skills of cooperation, communication and critical thinking. It turns learning into an exciting process in which children learn not only what is needed, but also because it is interesting. It was emphasized that it is important to prepare educators for the organization of children's play education, in accordance with modern educational standards, foreign research and Ukrainian educational concepts.
According to the types of games of pre-school children, various methods of game learning are described, which can be used by an educator-facilitator.
It was found that skillful facilitators are able to integrate educational goals into game conditions, promote the involvement and activity of each child. It is important for a modern educator to have the knowledge and skills necessary to organize the education of pre-school children via a play, because this approach promotes learning, early development of the child and lays the foundations for lifelong learning.
