Abstract

The article examines the definitions of «creativity» and  «innovativeness» in the context of their common traits and existing differences. A brief history of the emergence of these terms and their dynamic interaction over time is described. The article highlights various perspectives on the nature of the interaction between the definitions o «creativity» and «innovativeness». It also analyzes the reasons for the terminological confusion, where the terms are sometimes used as synonyms and sometimes understood differently. In the concluding part of the article, the author emphasizes the pedagogical relevance of the topic – approaches to creative development should be based on teaching creativity and forming a creative, value-oriented mindset in students.
