The following article discusses the importance of professional career development centers in the personal and professional development of individuals. These centers play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to students and professionals in their educational and professional training. The article highlights the significance of decision-making skills in choosing a career and the need for teachers to focus on developing these skills in students. Additionally, it presents different approaches to career preparation adopted in foreign countries. The article also discusses various factors that can affect an individual's decision-making process when selecting a career and identifies institutional and educational tools that can help mitigate these factors. The professional career center is recognized as an essential tool that can aid in self-discovery, personal development, and effective communication between students and potential employers. It is also noted that these centers can attract financial resources and help establish partnership relations with stakeholders. However, due to insufficient funding and unclear localization of these centers, several resource and organizational problems arise. The article concludes by stressing the importance of creating and developing such centers to support individuals in their professional formation and as a vital element in the country's economic development.
