Digital technologies in the educational activities of the institution of postgraduate pedagogical education: prospects and problems

The article considers the problem of digital transformation of the educational process in institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education in accordance with the conditions of existence of modern high-tech society. The analysis of literature sources showed that the issue of using digital technologies in the educational activities of postgraduate education institutions needs more detailed study. There are still issues related to methodological and practical development of digital educational content for students of advanced training courses. The role and place of distance learning technologies in providing remote interaction between participants of the educational process are revealed. It is noted that remote technologies are a powerful resource for professional development of teachers, providing them with rapid adaptation to modern living conditions in the information society, expanding communication opportunities, self-realization, and enrichment of professional experience. The pedagogical potential, main advantages and challenges of using digital tools for professional development of teachers in advanced training courses are highlighted. Conclusions are formulated that due to digitalization the educational process becomes more accessible and fl exible. This, in turn, provides comfortable conditions for improvement and effective professional development of teachers. The main directions of further scientifi c developments are determined, in particular the search for effective ways of digitalization as a set of tools that optimize learning, provide personalization and automation of educational processes.
