Formation methods of future teachers readyness for tourist extracurricular activities

The essence of future teachers extracurricular activities is examined, which is considered as an important means of gaining personal experience in various activities. It is noted that the search for new opportunities for conscious development of students’ cognitive activity, professional orientation should be carried out using the potential of educational work in the educational institution and meaningful leisure of young people. Emphasis is placed on the possibilities of tourism to positively infl uence the professional orientation of young people and their interest in technological education. It is established that tourist club classes in educational institution allow to gain an unique experience, extraordinary information of a professional nature, promote self-development of students.
The structure of teachers professional readiness is examined, which is a stable integral characteristic of their personality, as it integrates readiness for different types of pedagogical activities, including the organization of students meaningful leisure. The content of personal, professionally oriented and practical components of teachers’ readiness for an extracurricular tourism activities is analyzed. External and internal factors that affect the organization of tourism in the educational institution, which would also affect the professional orientation of students. The formation method of future teachers readiness for an extracurricular tourist activities is emphasized on the example of the club «Industrial Local History», which was attended by future teachers of the labour training and technology and teachers of the vocational training. The implementation of the methodology of readiness formation took place in stages, taking into account the activity approach and the methodological features of each stage, namely the motivational, informational, organizational and refl ective stages. The approbation of the method took place in the conditions of action by an uncontrolled and an unruled factor – coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19), which actualized training in the club in a mixed form.
