Innovative tendencies of the organization of art education in the conditions of implementation of the «New ukrainian school» concept

The article reveals the peculiarities of the organization of art education in institutions of general secondary education in accordance with the "New Ukrainian School" Concept.
It has been found that general art education is a subsystem of school education that harmoniously combines learning, upbringing and development of children and youth through the means of art and is designed to prepare them for active participation in socio-cultural life, for further artistic and aesthetic self-education. The integration approach is defined as key in modern general art education.
The purpose of the article is a theoretical analysis of innovation and integration trends in art education of Ukraine at the current stage of development of general secondary education.
The tasks of the article include an analysis of the integrative approach to art education as a key element in innovative trends in the organization of the educational process under the conditions of the New Ukrainian School.
In general art education, the integrative approach is insufficiently substantiated theoretically and poorly supported technologically. Therefore, there is a need for a more detailed description and analysis of innovative trends in the organization of art education, especially in the context of the implementation of the "New Ukrainian School" concept.
Philosophical ideas about knowledge as a valuable attitude of a person to the world, about worldview consciousness as a unity of world understanding, world perception and world attitude are important for the renewal of art education
It has been proven that the conditions of a regular general secondary education institution with a minimum amount of hours allocated to the disciplines of the artistic and aesthetic cycle make it necessary to search for effective ways of integrating artistic and aesthetic knowledge, ideas, values, and experience of students. The conceptual idea of developing the content of general art education is the holistic artistic and aesthetic development of the personality based on the interaction of various types of art and the coordination of knowledge, skills and ideas, the acquisition of which is necessary for the formation of a multi-artistic and multicultural image of the world in the minds of students. According to the state standard, art subjects should form a single end-to-end cycle aimed at comprehensive, continuous acquisition of artistic values by students throughout the entire period of schooling. The state standard of primary general education in the field of "Art" includes content lines covering the main types of arts - musical, visual (artistic), choreographic, theatrical, screen. Music and visual arts remain dominant.
