Abstract

The article reveals the ways of forming students' health-preserving competence. It was determined that the problem of forming health-preserving competence of students, creating an optimal environment for its formation is one of the leading problems in modern educational institutions. Physical education classes take a prominent place.

The purpose of the article is a theoretical analysis of the features of the formation of health-preserving competence of students in educational and family institutions.

The tasks of the article provide an outline and descriptive description of the ways of formation of health-preserving competence of students in physical education classes, as well as in the conditions of the family, family upbringing, as well as substantiation of the role of a healthy lifestyle.

Attention is focused on the peculiarities of physical education of young people as the main factor in the formation of the specified competence. The goal of physical education is defined as strengthening health, promoting harmonious personality development, preparing young people for work and defense of Ukraine, and therefore - forming health-preserving competence not only of students of general secondary education institutions, but also of students of higher education institutions.

The peculiarities of providing physical education of students in educational and family institutions are analyzed. It was found out that the system of physical education of education seekers is aimed at solving health, educational, educational tasks. In particular, the health direction involves the physical development of students, improving the body's functional capabilities, increasing its resistance to adverse factors of the internal and external environment, giving a dominant role to health in all forms of work with students.

The role of the family in the formation of health-preserving competence, the education of a healthy, physically developed personality, and its preparation for socially useful activities is determined, since it, as a specific pedagogical system, also performs an educational function, which consists in the transfer to the younger generation by adult members of the family of social experience, ensuring their entry into the system of social relations.
