Abstract

Ethnocultural training aims at organizing the educational process in institutions of higher education that
would ensure the formation of features of Ukrainian national character in student youth, the desire to achieve a
professional educational ideal, respect for folk traditions, customs, conditions of proper communication in
society, understanding of values, essential social qualities, etc.
The research paper shows the analysis on the basis of experimental data of pedagogical conditions of
ethnocultural training of future teachers in the educational environment of higher education institutions.
According to the studies, such major pedagogical conditions were determined as the social-positive motivation of
the educational process, the optimal combination of group and individual forms of preparation of students in the
process of teaching, integrative teaching with the aim of forming ethnocultural competence.
Also, the represented paper explains that ethnocultural training is always a dialogue and it combines the
uniqueness of ethno-pedagogy, ethnology, ethnography, ethno-psychology, cultural studies, etc.
In addition to developmental, problematic, research, search forms and teaching methods that encourage
activity, creative and critical thinking, the search for new knowledge and ways of action, the creation of an
appropriate atmosphere in the classroom and the decisive role of the teacher is of great importance.
