Abstract

The article considers the problem of training future teachers to innovative pedagogical activity; analyses the factors of the emergence and spread of innovations in the modern education system; determines the need for individual creative development of personality of a future teacher, his teaching abilities and professionally significant qualities during the period of study at the university. The priority ways of preparation of future teachers for innovative activity are outlined: individualization of process of training and development of creative potential of students; development of flexibility of thinking, ability to be guided in new programs and innovative technologies, methods and receptions of pedagogical activity; development of the ability to work based on the principles of cooperation / partnership pedagogy; formation of an integration approach to teaching subjects of the pedagogical cycle; formation of students' ideas about the possibilities of working with scientific and pedagogical literature using the resources of the Internet; formation of skills and abilities to work with electronic bibliographic databases; expansion and deepening of knowledge in the field of work with various sources of information. Under such conditions, pedagogical practice puts forward a number of requirements according to which teacher training in modern higher education institutions should be focused on reproducing the potential of the individual, his creative basis necessary for the effective implementation of pedagogical activities in the context of innovation processes. Achieving this goal requires changing the general approach to teacher training, give it a personality-oriented character, make it one that involves the development of individual abilities, creativity, professionally significant personality traits and characteristics of the future teacher.
