The article devoted to the problem of improvement the system of medical education institution and introduction of the structural-functional model providing quality educational activities in the medical college. The research methodology was presented with a description of the structural-functional model of quality assurance educational activity in the medical college, as well as comparative analysis the formation of general and specific competences in medical education applicants of 3 medical colleges. The analysis of scientific and methodical sources was carried out, performed statistical analysis of indicators successful candidates education in furthering their educational life cycle, summarizes data on the state of implementation and management of internal quality assurance system of educational activities in medical colleges, public information on the quality of education has been researched and highlighted on the websites of medical education institutions. The scientific novelty of the research was the substantiation of the necessity to implement the structural-functional model of quality assurance educational activities in the medical college, which was confirmed by statistical indicators of the formation of general and special competences in the applicants for education. Among the general conclusions from the research, it is necessary to determine that the condition for the development of higher medical education institution is the improvement of educational management, implementation of internal quality assurance systems, monitoring the formation of general and specific (professional) competences. The implementation of the structural-functional model of providing quality educational activities of medical education institutions that train future nurses, midwives, medical assistants (paramedics). In addition, the introduction of the structural-functional model of quality assurance educational activities among medical education institutions providing training for future nurses, midwives, medical assistants (paramedics) provides an opportunity to develop a system of medical knowledge formation and clinical thinking, which is confirmed on the basis of identified strengths and average strength, correlation links of direct orientation between the level of competence formation in basic, fundamental and specialized (clinical) disciplines of the educational program under training of health education recipients.
