УДК 378.091.553 An indicative model of teacher professional competence formation in preparing students for family life in extracurricular work

The article analyzes the achievements of family pedagogy and research on the preparation of student youth for family life. The basic tasks of scientific research on problems of preparation of students to family life are determined. According to the purpose and tasks of the scientific experiment, a model for forming the teacher's professional competence has been developed. A model for forming the teacher's professional competence and family values in students is based on a systematic, professional and personal approach to the preparation of students for family life. The model reproduces the technology of forming the professional competence of the teacher in the process of scientific and methodological activity. A particular attention to the disclosure of teachers’ professional competence is paid in the article. The abovementioned competence is realized in the unity and interaction of education and upbringing. The structure of teachers’ professional competence is determined. The latter consists of the components as listed below: universal; general scientific; professional; personal ones.
