Implementation technology of informal education of pharmaceutical profile teachers

Abstract

The article considers the concept of «information education» as a direction of professional development of pharmaceutical profile teachers and the type of their educational activities. It is revealed that in the context of transformational changes of the modern educational system, informal education actually becomes one of the core factors of personal and professional development of pharmaceutical profile teachers. The technology of realization of informal education by pharmaceutical profile teachers is demonstrated. It is found out that the proposed technology of informal education involves the participation of pharmaceutical profile teachers in various interrelated and interdependent activities, which should improve professional and pedagogical competence, which consists of the following components: value-motivational (determines the external and internal motivation of pharmaceutical profile teachers to the development of pedagogical competence, as well as types of their stimulation); cognitive (outlines a system of knowledge that ensures the quality of pedagogical competence); activity (contains a set of productive pedagogical actions based on a set of acquired knowledge and skills); personal (characterizes the personal qualities of teachers that determine their behavioral, individual psychological components).

The technology of informal education realization encourages teachers to search and study literature, articles on a specialty, including online materials; elaboration of the resource of encyclopaedic materials «Wikipedia»; processing of motivational video content; processing of video content for professional purposes (including the channel https://www.youtube.com); participation in the activities of the social network «Facebook»; communicative activity; participation in scientific and methodical activities.

The expected result of the implementation technology of informal education of pharmaceutical profile teachers is their active participation in various activities in order to improve the personal and professional level of pharmaceutical profile teachers.
